Ethernet connection I225 v3

Hi, i have an issue my ethernet connection rapdily diconnecting, i installed ethernet nice card I225 v3 driver on Win11 on MSI Z790-A Wifi i have tried a lot But there is no any solution!

Hi thank you for your reply, i built my pc nearly one years ago, and i dont have this issues, my nic card its attached to mother board (msi z790-a wifi) model ok, and when i look to the ethernet connection status the ethernet cant be connecting its try automatically to be connect and sign button is visableb for a moment and dispiar, and So i must turn of my modem and unplug cable from my modem then will be connected for a while then the same thing will repeat! I updated evrey thing and i traied alot of changing setttings But not worked

As per checking the best source of support for your case would be to contact MSI support. We understand that this is an Intel Ethernet controller but it is embedded so we have limited support. We can help with suggestions, but MSI ultimately owns support of this since it is designed onto their motherboard.


Ensure that the Ethernet cable is firmly connected to both the NIC card and the router or switch. To eliminate any potential cable issues, try using a different cable. Verify that you have the latest drivers installed for your Intel I225-V NIC. You can download and install the most recent drivers for your specific hardware from the official MSI website.

Additionally, connect another device to the same Ethernet cable and port to check if the issue persists. This will help identify whether the problem lies with the NIC or the network setup.


The best recommendation that we can advise if you are still encountering some issues would be to contact MSI support for this so that they can properly assist you.

Thank you for your recommendtion, i test it with my laptop there was no any issue, and i apdated evry driver on my pc, but i think the problem is software, and i search a lot to many people have the same problem maybe the problem is I225 v3 driver, if that happened again i will contact to msi, thank you again

If you purchased an OEM-branded system or appliance, we kindly suggest contacting your OEM for a software driver version that is compatible with your specific firmware version. Using software and firmware versions that have not been validated to work together may impact performance, feature availability, and system stability.
