Firmware upgrade problem in CentOS8

В связи с проблемой описанной в моем предыдущем посте,

разработчик ПО посоветовал мне обновить прошивку в сетевых адаптерах.

Установлено два схожих, E810-CQDA но с 1 и 2 портами.

Intel E810-CQDA2 Ethernet 100Gb 2-port QSFP28 (E810CQDA2BLK) SN 978323 fw.ver 2.15

Intel E810-CQDA1 Ethernet 100Gb 1-port QSFP28 (E810CQDA1BLK) SN 978313 fw.ver 2.30

Операционная система Centos8

lspci:

пробовал две разные версии прошивок:
E810_NVMUpdatePackage_v2_42_Linux.tar.gz
E810_NVMUpdatePackage_v2_50_Linux.tar.gz

В обоих случаях - одна и та же ошибка:
Tool execution completed with the following status: The configuration file could not be opened/read, or a syntax error was discovered in the file.

Подобная ошибка встречалась уже ранее, только я не нашел в обсуждении путей решения проблемы. Поэтому и создал аналогичную тему заново.

1. PBA number of the adapter and let us know if you are seeing any YottaMark* and BradyID* Stickers on Intel® Ethernet Adapter? The YottaMark* and BradyID* stickers are authentication labels. Please refer to link below to see what the labels look like.

2.Please share the link where the Firmware update package was downloaded from.

Да, в попытке решить проблему с прохождением GRE пакетов, я попытался обновить прошивки в обоих адаптерах. 

В CentOS8 - выдает просто ошибку чтения конфигурации.

Linux Mint считывает конфигурацию, видит адаптер, но не прошивает.

Второй адаптер я сейчас специально вытащил, чтобы не возникало путаницы.

Доброго дня!

В заголовке темы указана операционная система - CentOS 8. Windows не используем нигде и никак. Даже на рабочих столах.

И. Проблема решена.
