I have downloaded the driver pack
and windows server will not recognise it. I opened the inf file and it appears the windows os code for Windows Server 2019, 2022 and 2025 is all missing. The driver does work for Windows 10 and 11.
The computer is a Geekom XT12 Pro with an onboard Intel i255-v network card. I have tried everything including opening up the inf file and editing it. Which did partly work. Device manager was able to see the driver but unable to install the driver. Any assistance would be hugely appreciated.
I googled the issue and there appears to be quite a few out there with the same issue.

Hi JonGrantham,
Thank you for contacting Intel.
We appreciate you reaching out to us regarding the reported issue. Kindly find the below latest driver complete pack version 30.0:
If the ehternet is biult-in with motherboard, you may need to get the driver from motherboard manufacturer (OEM).
Let us know if you have further concerns.

I downloaded the driver. The card is still not supported under windows 2025 sever standard.
I reviewed the driver and can see that it now says it supports it but it doesn't. Windows does not see a value driver in the PRO2500 folder and the setupBD.exe reports "no Intel Network Connections found on this computer. No drivers were installed"

Hi JonGrantham,
Good Day!
We just wanted to let you know that as the Intel® Ethernet Controller I225-V is embedded on the board, there may be custom BIOS and drivers from the OEM/Manufacturer.
Hence we kindly request you to contact the OEM/Geekom as they are best equipped to troubleshoot this issue.
I hope this answers any concerns or queries you may have. In the future, if you come across any issue of a different Intel product feel free to contact us and we will be more than happy to assist you.
Regards,
Simon

I have been in contact with Geekom. Their response is the Intel does support Windows Sever 2025. The more I research this I am yet to find any machine with a i225-v that works with Windows Sever. I also found (unfordable) I can not lay my hands on it now a document which suggested Intel deliberately blocks the i225-v from working with server OS' because it was part of a home user line.

Hi JonGrantham,
Thank you for your response.
Upon checking further, I225-V is not supported with Windows Server 2022(Version 20H2) and Windows Server 2025. Kindly refer to the below article for OS compatibility:
Supported Operating Systems for Intel® Ethernet Controllers (LOM)
We truly apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Hope this clarifies your concerns.

Is there any chance it will be supported in the future?
