Hi bahume,
We would be grateful if you could share what is your system model (e.g. HP/Dell server/workstation) and is there any error showing when it does not install?
Best regards,

We have a ASUS Prime z790-A motherboard with an intel i9 13900 and 64 GB of DDR5 Ram. Downloading the intel drivers and extracting and running the executable will not work, it says wrong OS. I was able to select the drivers manually using Device Manager, and while Windows suggested not using them it seems to work fine, and I have functionality with the network interface.

Hi bahume,
Since driver for Windows Server 2022 is unavailable from ASUS website, we recommend you to get consult with ASUS on which driver is suitable for Windows Server 2022 as their driver might be optimized/customized for their product.
However you still may test with Intel® Ethernet Adapter Complete Driver Pack version 28.0 (large file) as per below link:
The driver for i225/i226 is inside folder: Release_28.0\PRO2500\PRO2500\Winx64.
There are three folder inside Winx64:
- NDIS68
- W11
- WS2022
You may test with WS2022 folder which is probably for Windows Server 2022 and it may not work properly since there is insufficient information on Windows Server 2022 driver behavior with ASUS motherboard. Let us know if you already tested with the Complete Driver Pack.

Hi Fariz_Intel
I have downloaded the driver pack and windows server will not recognise it. I opened the inf file and it appears the windows os code for Windows Server 2019, 2022 and 2025 is all missing. The driver does work for Windows 10 and 11.
Similar story as above I bought a cheap machine for a home dev server.
It's a Geekom XT12 Pro with an onboard Intel i255-v network card. I have tried everything including opening up the inf file and editing it. Which did partly work. Device manager was able to see the driver but unable to install the driver. Any assistance would be hugely appreciated.
