I need to know if the CNA 10GigE card, x710 DA2, will remote boot with iSCSI (i.e. boot from NetApp SAN)

The x710 DA2 product brief from Intel, indicates that it "Enables system boot up via iSCSI', however the list of adapters compatible with iscsi remote boot does not include the X710-DA2 (page : Learn Which Adapters Support Intel® iSCSI Remote Boot)

Just to double check, do you have the adapter already? If yes, can you share the markings of the Ethernet Adapter so we can check if this an Intel Retail version as for our record purposes.

We have confirmed that X710-DA2 does support ISCSI. We also found a similar case and we understand the question was answered by our other support team.

Not at this time – I’m going to attempt to run BootUtil today and see if the card responds to the remote boot settings. Thank you.
