Hello,
we are using WGI210IT (top marking WGI210AT-I) on one of our boards.
In a recent production batch, several boards were not always properly establishing a link and were also not visible/enumerated on the PCIe bus, at room temperature.
When cooling down the chip, the problem disappears. When warming up, the issue occurs more often/always.
This looks exactly like erratum #36 described for the WGI210IS (WGI210AS-I) (Intel document 332763 - Rev 3.0).
Is it possible that the issue described for the fiber type is also present for the copper type chip?
Datecode on the chips is 2233BMP.
Intel released a new stepping revision A3 for the fiber type chip fixing the issue. It is not clear to me if Intel ever released newer stepping revisions for the copper type chip?
Thanks,
Jon

Hi JonDS,
Greetings.
Thank you for posting in Intel Community Forum.
Upon checking, we found other existing case for the same issue created. Kindly follow the instructions provided by our colleague in the existing case/forum thread regarding this issue. Since there is existing case assisted for this issue, I will be archiving this case as duplicate case at our end.
Thank you for using Intel products and services.

Hello Sazzy,
it looks like you have moved my question from the embedded board back to here (ethernet products) ??
Could you please provide a link to the 'existing case' you are referring to?
Thanks,
Jon
