Hi,
This post is the followup of a previous closed one (community.intel.com/t5/Ethernet-Products/I219-support/m-p/1575090#M36489) as I was on vacations.
These are a few more details.
I currently run a laptop (Dell 7680) on Windows 10 22H2 (build 19045.3930) that has an Intel Ethernet Connection (22) I219-LM with driver 12.19.2.56
I have just installed PROset 29.0 and the card does not seem to be supported (see attached screenshot)
As a result I cannot create VLAN on this card.
As this card is said to be supported in the User_Guide, could you please advice ?
Thanks,
Robert

Hello ServiceE2,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
Can you please share with us the guide that shows the card is supported.
Kindly go thru below link for more information on VLAN:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005677/ethernet-products.html
According to the Supported Operating Systems for Intel® Ethernet Controllers (LOM):
Note | Intel® PROSet for Windows* Device Manager and Intel® Advanced Network Services (Intel® ANS) driver for teaming and VLANs aren't supported by I217/ I218/ I219. |
Kindly let us know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Hayat

Hi,
Thanks for checking and feedback.
Is the "Intel Ethernet Connection (22) I219-LM" card supported on an older version of PROset ?
We have laptops with other versions and there are all compatible with VLAN and previous PROset versions :
- Intel Ethernet Connection (11) I219-LM
- Intel Ethernet Connection (14) I219-LM
- Intel Ethernet Connection (17) I219-LM
Is there an previous version of driver and PROset that supports our (22) card ?
Thanks,
Robert

Hello ServiceE2,
Proset is not POR for i219. This means that it was not supported and never validated. However, you could try to use i219 with Proset but if any issues are observed, we unable will not provide any support for it.

Hello,
So as a wrap-up, does-it means that this specific card (Intel Ethernet Connection (22) I219-LM) does not support VLAN, while previous versions (that are listed in my previous message) does ?
Thanks for help,
Robert

Hi ServiceE2,
As mentioned in the last post, I219 was not supported and never validated for Proset.
Thus, if you could try to use with Proset and if its working for you but have an issue later on we are unable provide any support for it.
We are also unable to confirm if Intel Ethernet Connection (22) I219-LM will be able to work with Proset like the previous version for you as I219 was not supported and never validated.
Kindly let us know if you have further questions regarding this.
If else, kindly confirm if we can close the thread.
