In 6.9.0 I get:

This link looks like an internal Intel Customer Support website. I am not an Intel employee, I don't have access.

What does this article have to do with Linux?
Then, please install the latest driver pack version:
For this product, Intel integrates the driver right into the Linux kernel, there is no installation.
SSU log is attached.

Regarding SSU, please download and run the Intel System Support Utility for Windows. When you start the utility, select Everything and then click on Scan. Once it completes the scan process, click on Next and then Save. Pick a name for the text file to create and click on Save to create it. You can then close the app. Finally, open a response post here and then, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog (below the edit box for the body of your response post), upload and attach this text file to the response post.

Attached. I am curious why do you need Windows information to solve a problem on Linux? FYI, after booting Windows this device doesn't work even on 6.1 kernel until a power cycle (reboot Linux, power off, boot Linux again). Sometimes I have to powercycle a couple of times before it starts working on Linux.

Hi AckoftOvak,
Regarding your enquiry, please take note that the linux kernel version that is supported and tested by Intel is 5.8 and 5.16.18. Please refer to article link below for the OS supported list for Intel Ethernet Controllers (LOM).

This sounds like I should avoid Intel products. Thank you.
P.S. Technically, either your answer is wrong or the article is wrong since the latest updates for Ubuntu 22.04 use a 6.5 kernel, but I understand what you are saying.

You are welcome. I understood Intel's position from your previous message, so there was no need to repeat yourself. Lol.
Let me use this opportunity to correct your grammar mistakes.

Figuratively speaking, you've given me the finger, hiding it under corporate lip service. In what possible scenario would a person have any questions after that? You've told me to be off. This is what I am going to do, plus to avoid Intel products in the future. Or are you just mocking me? I am curious.

The solution was to add pcie_ports=native to the kernel parameters. I would like to thank Intel again for the fantastic customer support. With no other company but Intel, I feel like they care about customers and go out of their way to resolve issues. Thank you so much.
