I have been testing I226-T1 NIC (with I226-LM controller) in both Windows 11 and Linux (Mint 22). If the cable is connected to a switch port that supports 10M link, WOL works with both setups. If the port does not support 10Mbps, WOL works only in Windows (link is up at 100M when in sleep mode).
How do I configure the sleep mode link speed to support 100M in Linux as well?
Where can I find the datasheet for I226-LM?

Hi Ilpo,
Thank you contacting Intel Support.
I see that you have already created a case 06431687 for this issue.
As informed earlier, the Linux operating system is not supported on Intel® Ethernet Network Adapter I226-T1, which is why WOL (Wake on LAN) does not work.

As requested earlier, we advised you to contact the Intel Embedded Connectivity forum as you need assistance with custom design of the I226 controller chip.

As this is a duplicate case. I proceed to archive this case.
Best regards,
