Hi,
for our application using the i226 we need to find a convenient way to program the flash memory. Preferably we would program the flash during ICT using an external programmer. This is similar to what is described in document 523490 "Intel® Ethernet NVM Programming Strategy for Manufacturing 01-May-2013" in section 3.2, "In-Ciruit Test".
Usually when programming flash chips that are connected to a regular microcontroller during ICT, the microcontroller is put into reset, such that voltages applied to SPI pins don't damage the microcontroller. or the external programmer and the microcontroller interfere. Is something similar necessary with i226? Or would it be okay to simply have testpoints on the spi signal lines and program with the i226 active?
Thanks!

Hello, @Fikri_Intel:
Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.
We need to clarify that this forum is not related to an Intel Embedded Platform.
Due to this, the customer request is out of our scope of support.
