IEEE1588 supports

How am I able to get the programmer's documents for implementing PTP using Intel 82599 10G NIC?

Additionally, I am using 2.6.34 linux kernel.

Shall I use 2.6.36 linux and ixgbe device drivers for that?

Everything is question mark about this.

You can look at the datasheet availabe from here:

http://http://developer.intel.com/products/ethernet/index.htm?iid=nc+ethernet# s1=all&s2=82576EB&s3=all http://http://developer.intel.com/products/ethernet/index.htm?iid=nc+ethernet# s1=all&s2=82576EB&s3=all

However, we are planning on adding the same support that is in our igb driver to the ixgbe in the very near future. The igb changes are in the 2.6.39 kenrel.
