Hi, Intel team,
I am writing to inquire about the product lifecycle status of the Intel C620 Series Chipsets, specifically the following models:
- C625, C626, C627, C628
One of our key customers is currently developing a QAT (QuickAssist Technology) card utilizing these chipsets and plans to enter mass production in the first half of next year.
To ensure a stable supply chain for their upcoming mass production, we need to confirm if there are any scheduled EOL (End of Life) plans or Last Order dates for these specific items. I have searched through the recent PCN documents and haven't found any discontinuance notices yet, but I would like to double-check with your team to be absolutely sure.
Additionally, I recall that Intel previously offered a service where users could register specific products to receive automatic email notifications whenever a PCN (Product Change Notification) was updated.
Could you please confirm if this service is still available? If so, I would appreciate it if you could share the link or instructions on how to subscribe to these automatic alerts.
I look forward to your reply.
Thanks,
Best Regards.

Hi intel team,
Thank you for your response and for providing the detailed information, including the PCN update email notification option.
Regarding the C62X series, I have already reviewed the related PCN and EOL notices. I realize that my previous message may have been a bit confusing. What I actually wanted to ask about is the recommended replacement products listed in the attached file, rather than the discontinued parts themselves. When I tried to look up PCN or EOL information for those recommended replacement products, I was not able to find any related documentation.
Could you please confirm if there are any PCN, EOL, or similar notices available for the recommended replacement products shown in the attached file? I would also like to know if there are any known risks or potential impacts to their mass production schedule. Please let me know, and thank you again for your support.

Thank you very much for your confirmation regarding the C62X Series EOL status and your valuable guidance.
I truly appreciate your prompt response and the information provided.
I would like to humbly request one final clarification.
Could you please kindly verify the following for us:
1. Are the below part numbers still available for ordering, or have they been affected by any recent discontinuance notices?
- MM# 957630 - MM# 957632 - MM# 957629 - MM# 957628 - MM# 957627 - MM# 957626 - MM# 957631 - MM# 957625
2. Are there any recent PCN notices or EOL documentations associated with these part numbers that we should be aware of?
I would greatly appreciate your assistance in verifying this information at your earliest convenience.
Thank you once again for your kind support and understanding.

Hi ERICKIM,
Thank you for your response.
Please note that the Last Product Discontinuance Order Date for this product was February 23, 2018, and the final shipment date was May 11, 2018.
Additionally, Intel does not issue separate PCNs for alternate steppings within the same processor family, so all recommended replacements also share the same End-of-Life (EOL) status.
For any further assistance, we recommend contacting your system OEM, or you may also find helpful resources and guidance through the Intel Embedded Community.
