Hi you all,
I'm trying to install the 82578DC module on my 4.3 kernel however the procedure is not working properly. As you can see below.
root@test:~/Desktop/e1000e-3.3.3/src# make install
Makefile:67: *** Kernel header files not in any of the expected locations.
Makefile:68: *** Install the appropriate kernel development package, e.g.
Makefile:69: *** kernel-devel, for building kernel modules and try again. Stop.
Thanks in advance.

Dear DrDoS-Ash,
Thank you for contacting Intel.
I see that you are encountering error in installing the driver for your network connection. Please refer to website below:
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/ethernet-products/000005767.html?wapkw=make+install Linux igb* Base Driver Overview and Installation for Network and I O
1. Click on "Building and installation" to find the steps to install the driver. If you still get error,
2. Use other driver versions - click on "Download e1000e", try version 3.1.0.2 / 3.0.4
Hope this is helpful.
Sincerely,
Sandy

Unfortunately the first thing I saw was "The Linux base drivers support the 2.4.x, 2.6.x and 3.x kernels."
And my distro is KALI based on Debian and 4.3 kernel.
The version suggested is incompatible.
Any suggestion? Please...
