Hello Support,
we are using Intel 10GBit/s XL710-BM1-4SP 4x10G SFP+ Cards in some machines but we are facing issues mit lldp and PXE boot.
Since we have that card running with different platforms, the OS based solutions to disable lldp does not work for us.
Also the suggested UEFI does not work for us.
So, I would like to ask if you provide Firmware with lldp disabled (like supermicro does for cards with that chips)?
Thx and best, Matthias

Hello MatthiasP,
Greetings!!
Thank you for reaching out and for the detailed information regarding the LLDP and PXE boot issues you're experiencing with the Intel XL710-BM1-4SP 10GbE adapters.
In order to disable the LLDP you may use priv-flags disable-fw-lldp can be set successfully for 700 series ethernet devices.
For additional guidance, please refer to the official Intel documentation on FW-LLDP usage for 700-Series adapters at the link below:

Hello Pujeeth,
sorry for the late response. We figured out how to disable LLDP on the Cards in question via UEFI. That took some time because we need to schedule some reboots of machines before we could make the changes.
So at this time there are no open questions regarding this issue (which wasn't really one at least).
Thank you!
Best, Matthias
