Intel 82583V disconnects in Tx Mode beyond 120Mbps

We are using Intel 82583V in our product. When we use 82583V in Tx mode we are facing the issue of disconnection above data rates of 120Mbps. The same adapter works fine used as Rx even at 145Mbps. It shows as "Network cable unplugged" for a while before connecting agian. What might be causing this issue?
