Hi,

I would like to know if Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller 10 Gigabit X540-AT2 requires AES-NI capable processor for IPsec offload? Being PCIe device would it be able to work with aes-ni offload to processor?

Thanks,

Hello rajeshsg, We'd like to double check the model of your controller. Please provide the System Support Utility log of your system. This will allow us to check your Adapter details. 1- Download from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- 2- Open SSU.exe 3- Mark the box "Everything" and then click "Scan". 4- When finished scanning, click "Next". 5- Click on "Save" and attach the file to a post. Your prompt reply is highly appreciated. Best regards, Crisselle C Intel Customer Support Under Contract to Intel Corporation

Hello rajeshsg, We would highly appreciate if you can share to us where the Ethernet Controller 10 Gigabit X540-AT2 is integrated to. If this is an OEM on-board Ethernet controller, it would be best if you can get in touch with your manufacturer for further support since they might have customized drivers and software to enable or alter features on your system.
