Hi,
I would like to know if Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller 10 Gigabit X540-AT2 requires AES-NI capable processor for IPsec offload? Being PCIe device would it be able to work with aes-ni offload to processor?
Thanks,
Rajesh

Hello rajeshsg,
Thank you for the patience on this matter.
Based on Intel® Ethernet Controller X540 datasheet, it has integrated IPsec security engines and supports AES-GCM 128-bit; AH or ESP encapsulation, IPv4 and IPv6 up to 1024 SA / port.

Hello rajeshsg,
We would highly appreciate if you can share to us where the Ethernet Controller 10 Gigabit X540-AT2 is integrated to. If this is an OEM on-board Ethernet controller, it would be best if you can get in touch with your manufacturer for further support since they might have customized drivers and software to enable or alter features on your system.
