Intel E810 - nvmupdate64e returns Access error

Hello everyone,

 

I have an intel E810 that after a reboot it is not working properly (timestamp is giving allways 0)

When I try to upgrade the NVM using nvmupdate64e returns this output:

For us to further check the issue, please provide the following details.


  1. Are you designing a system with E810?
  2. Or your E810 is a PCIe card? If yes, please send a photo of the card on both sides for us to validate if the card is an OEM unit.
  3. Can you share the link of the NVM update file that you are using?

Dear Michael.

 

Our E810 is a PCIe card. This is the link of the card. At this moment I can only attach the photo provided by the seller when he sent me the E810-XXVDA4. I hope this is enough to validate if the card is an OEM unit.

This is the link of the used update file.

I am not sure what exactly has happen, but after activating PF_RING module, I have been able to update the nic.

You can close the ticket and thanks.
