Does anyone know if these NICs are capable of offloading UDP?

Thank you for looking into using an Intel Ethernet solution. While this NIC does support UDP and IP checksum offloads, it does not support a full UDP offload. I hope this helps answer you question.

Miles,
Thank you for your reply! The 'Product Brief' for this product seemed to imply CT adapters supports UDP offload (as well as the brief for its 82574L controller), but the language/formatting is obutse, so your reply is much appreciated!
Does the Intel® PRO/1000 PT Desktop Adapter support full UDP offload capability? If not is there an Intel consumer/workstation NIC that supports UDP offload capability?
Thanks,
Will

Hi Will,
The checksum calculation for TCP/IP, TCP, UDP is performed by the adapter. That is the offload capability you read about in the product brief.
The IP stack itself is not offloaded on the adapter. A complete offload of UDP is not offered on any Intel(R) Ethernet adapters.
