Hi,
A simple search and one can find so many posts of issues in so many environments that wonder why is still in use.
In our case, we are a Synology NAS fans and most of our customers are Dell customers. However, what I am going to describe here is not exclusive of Dell PCs.
BsODs are annoyingly happening too much with DPC Watchdog Violation errors and minidump analysis points ALWWAYS to NDIS or NTIO drivers.
PCs with this NICs can't be backed up suing Synology Active Backup for Business unless the receive and transmits buffers are increase 2x or even max out (4098) to avoid the machine from having multiple network disconnections at any time of the day, not just while being backed up.
PCs not using ABB, are BsODed too ... same problem.
Intel drivers are at version 29.0 while Dell PCs show 12.19.2.20 dated 11/3/2022 as up-to-date, latest one. We know better not to install Intel drivers over Dell ones .... just to avoid more issues.
How can a NIC be so problematic and be still in the market? Is there any known solution?
