Intel NIC that supports NBASE-T and Windows 10

Hello,

Is there an Intel NIC that exists that supports NBASE-T (100 Mbit/s, 1, 2.5, 5, or 10 Gbit/s), also known as 802.3bz, and has drivers for Windows 10?

I am seeing past posts that indicate NBASE-T is supported on an Intel NIC but only for Linux not Windows.

Hi Crisselle,

AT&T is deploying gigabit fiber to our neighborhood. Their modem/router is the BGW320. The BGW320 has a 5 Gbe NIC port . AT&T over-provisions their gigabit fiber deployments at 1.2 Gbps. In addition, AT&T is testing 3.0 Gbps fiber deployments in some areas. The only way to take advantage of these speeds is to connect a network card to that 5 Gbe port, which can negotiate NBASE-T speeds...

You may consider using X550-T1 and X550-T2 but please be reminded about this article.

"The Windows* drivers support the NBASE-T technology, but only in Autosense. 2.5GbE or 5GbE cannot be set as default, but if the signal degrades from 10GbE, it will automatically switch as long as the link partner supports those speeds.

On Linux* OS environments, the NBASE-T has been supported since NVM* version 1.55 and Linux ixgbe driver version 4.3.9."
