I'd love to apply this server adapter to my server.

Before PO, to understand the feature 'bypass' I'm finding user manual of it.

Short brief and overview PDFs can be found on the web.

Bypass adapters were designed to be used by development partners and not for general end user use, which is why you are having trouble finding information about them. See Doug's response to an earlier discussion at /message/104241# 104241 Re: Configuring Bypass mode in Intel pro/1000 PT quad port server adapter.
