asus 5 gene motherboard ,tried asus drivers(old,new) tried latest drivers from intel ,cat5e(checked on other pc full 1gbit no problem ),router capable of 1gbit used correct port ,had no problems before ,problems only ocurd recently ,when i try to force 1gbit connection pc freezes up and then lets off (cycles like that with no connection) no physical damage to port or motherboard visible,diagnostic tool says evrything is a-ok. what should i try to fix tyhis issue?

To troubleshoot the issue, please try the following.
- Kindly update all the drivers.
- You may also update the BIOS of your board.
- Try to check your BIOS settings.
