Hello,
Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (11) I219-LM going offline randomly. There is no pattern. It can happen once in a day or two.
In the event logs, there are warnings with event ID 27 and with source as "e1i68x64".
Similarly several warnings with event ID 10040 can be seen with NDIS as event source with below description.
"The network interface "Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (11) I219-LM #2" has begun resetting. There will be a momentary disruption in network connectivity while the hardware resets. Reason: The network driver requested that it be reset. This network interface has reset 3 time(s) since it was last initialized."
System can go offline for quite a long time. To overcome the issue, we may have to do below
a. Unplug LAN cable and connect again
b. disable and enable network adapter
c. Reboot the system.
Please find the hardware and OS specification as below.
