Managing port on XL710-DA2 to use as 4 10Gbe ports

I am trying to manage a port on a XL710-DA2 NIC to use as 4 10Gbe ports without much success.  This is what I tried.

1. When I run qcu, I get the following,

Intel(R) QSFP+ Configuration Utility

QCU version: v2.34.17.03
Copyright(C) 2014 - 2019 by Intel Corporation.
Software released under Intel Proprietary License.

NIC Seg:Bus Ven-Dev Mode Adapter Name
=== ======= ========= ======== =================================================
1) 000:094 8086-1583 N/A Intel(R) Ethernet Converged Network Adapter XL710

Error: Invalid image on the adapter.

2. So, I then run

./qcu64e /nic=1 /info
Intel(R) QSFP+ Configuration Utility

QCU version: v2.34.17.03
Copyright(C) 2014 - 2019 by Intel Corporation.
Software released under Intel Proprietary License.

QSFP+ Configuration modification is not supported by this adapter.

3. Looking this up on-line tells me to update the firmware for the NIC.  So I run,

[root@DSE4BC Linux_x64]# ./nvmupdate64e -a ./

Intel(R) Ethernet NVM Update Tool
NVMUpdate version 1.35.23.3

4. I also ran the following
