I have two i226IT issues under MTL-U. (Win10)
1. There are two i226IT on MTL-U mainboard. I have a test when the RJ45 LAN cable connect both. When I unplug then plug in, sometimes the LAN icon is show "Network cable has been unplugged". But the RJ45 link status LED is on and the network function is connected normally. If I use the mouse cursor to click on the LAN icon, the LAN icon will change to the connected state.
I have adopted the latest NVM 2.23 and even NVM 2.25 with 1.1.4.42 driver. But I found that the "Power Management" settings disappeared from the driver content.
2. The same specs as above. I have a LAN test with BurnInTest 10.2(1011) and the RJ45 LAN cable connect both. When I click "Start Test Run", sometimes LAN1 or LAN2 loses packets. This test will have the error message "Not enough packets sent to verify error ratio."
Do you have any idea or solution??

Hello Ramon Huang,
Greetings for the day!
Thank you for joining the Intel community.
Could you please confirm whether the cards are preinstalled or add-on?
Additionally, could you check and confirm that the RJ45 LAN cable is firmly connected to both the mainboard and the network device?
Have you tried using a different RJ45 LAN cable to rule out any potential issues with the cable itself?
Kindly share the operating system details.
Regards,
Vijay N.

Hi Vijan N.
The i226 LAN chip is on the board. I have tried changing to different network cables but it still can't solve the problem. I made sure the network cable is firmly connected.
The OS is Win10 Pro 22H2. I try to disable C states, it the same issue. I will try to confirm if this problem exists in Win11 tomorrow.
Best Regards,
Ramon Huang
