Hi, i just reinstalled everything on my old computer, in hoping i could get it to work. (Back to factory settings, deleting everything)
Just encountered my first problem. I cannot connect to internet.
Im plugged in with cable and it says it wont connect. I troubleshoot to find the problem.
"Install a driver for your network adapter" it says.
Problem found:
"Windows could not find a driver for your network adapter."
I went on my laptop, googled for internet driver for Windows 8.1 and found the Intel webside.
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23071/Intel-Network-Adapter-Driver-for-Windows-8-1-
I ported it over with a flash drive and tried to run it.
But when I try to install the driver, it says:
"Cannot install drivers. No Intel(R) Adapters are present in this computer."
So I googled alittle and found this video.
Now that you talked about Device Manager, i opened it to check it out.
And i couldn't find the tab for Network Adapters.
What can i do ?
I dont quite remember what was wrong with this PC, and to be honest, I don't know all that much about computers. But if there is like a network card or something, is it possible the its broken ?

My best bet is Z87-G45 Gaming MSI. (?)
If this is not what you were referring to, tell me :p
The PC came with Windows 8 back in the day. Before I reformatted it, it had Win10 installed.
Processor are Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770k CPU @3.50GHz.

As you mentioned motherboard, I searched the motherboard and found Killer E2200 printed on it. And i remember Killer was connected to internet somehow. So i googled it. I found a driver specific for what i had written on the motherboard and it actually worked installing it.
Now "Network Adapters" appeared in my Device Manager !
