Was speaking with Mike, and he did ask me to contact him if I needed more help, which is what I am now doing..

OK, in doing some research, it seems I need the following software for Windows XP:

Intel82579LM Gigabit Network Connection Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4) Driver

Hopefully you can send me that file so I can get my IPv4 working using YOUR Internet hardware and software..

XP has not been supported for more than five years.

Well, I PAID for your PCB and software - so, why can’t you provide me what I am asking for??? I do not need to hear that XP has not been supported - I know that - so, you gonna use that as an excuse to not get off your butt and get me the software I need?? Geez, everybody has an excuse these days...

I am curious as to why you still need XP and have not moved forward with the rest of the world. You are only 17 years behind. The few users I deal with all have an excuse for using XP.

I wish you the best of luck, as there is no support if you have problems.

Hello JSpit2,

If you are referring to the Windows XP driver for 82579LM, you may download this driver to the link below:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/18717/Network-Adapter-Drivers-for-Windows-XP-Final-Release?product=47620

As stated on the link, this is the final release as Windows XP is a legacy operating system.

If you have questions, please let us know.

Best regards,

Michael, thanks for your help in this - but, when trying to install this newer version, it says the older version cannot be removed.. Is there some way I can manually un-install it? Thanks,, Joe

OK, hope you get these - I guess your system does not accept attachments in email messages - something you should get fixed..
