Problems with DC/DC regulator

I am currently using the XWAY PHY11G PEF7071, V1.4 and am having problems with the integrated DC/DC regulator becoming unstable on power up. This is happening on approximately 1 in 6 devices tested. The Errata for V1.3 states that there was a known issue with stability of the integrated DC/DC regulator and that it would be fixed in version 1.4. However, I appear to be seeing the same problem with V1.4 devices. Has this problem been noted and rectified in new versions of the device?
