QSFP+ Configuration modification is not supported by this adapter

Hi,

I am trying to set up Intel XL710 in 4x10 mode using QCU but I get the error "QSFP+ Configuration modification is not supported by this adapter".  It is currently functioning in 2x40 mode

When I use qcu64e /devices I get the error "Error: Invalid image on the adapter."

I have several XL710 that do not have this error.  Including the XL710 with the error, all are using Fiberstor Intel compatible QSFP+ tranceiver module

This is my firmware and driver info:
