Hi ,
I was trying to set up Intel XL710 in 2x40 mode using the QCU but I am getting the error ""QSFP+ Configuration modification is not supported by this adapter."
Although If I try to check the current configuration it shows the mode as N/A.
All the steps that I followed:

Hi ,
I am using the QSFP+ cables and the brand is Approved. Here I just want to know that can I change the configuration for XL710 QDA2 ? As you can see in my previous post that if I tried QCU utility to change the configuration that i am getting the following error ""QSFP+ Configuration modification is not supported by this adapter."

Kindly try the i40e driver version 2.0.26 and load the QCU configuration again.

The Driver version you have mentioned is for Linux . Here, I am trying on VMware ESX, can you suggest the latest driver for ESX 6.5 with the link.

Hi, I had the same problem. I tried the i40e driver version you provided for Linux and it still didn't work. I also used the NVM update utility and it still doesn't work.
