Quad Intel Ethernet Gigabit Intel E1G44ET2BLK on PciEx16x connector

Good morning,

I have a question. One of my particular customer make me a specific question:

I have this motherboard on my pc: Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5I already have 2 Gbit RJ45 Plug

I need more 8 RJ45 plug.

By a little search I found Quad Ethernet Gigabit Intel E1G44ET2BLK. I want install 2 of it but there's a problem

On the motherboard I have only PciEx16x connector and the ethernet card is PciEx4x.

Can I install it on PciEx16x connector?

The The Intel® Gigabit ET2 Quad Port Server Adapter is compatible with x4, x8, and x16 standard and low-profile PCI Express* slots.
