Query: Programming of Intel I210-Device ID # 1531

Hi Intel Community,

 

I am using Intel I210-IT (Device ID: 1531) in my board. In the Intel Ethernet Controller Specification update document Version 2.5, Page No. 6 Table1-2 it is mentioned that, Device ID 1531 is for Not Programmed/Factory Default. If I want to use the device, whether i need to program the device or not? If yes how to program the device?
