Intel Ethernet Controller I210-AT oscillator AC coupling capacitor value

I have a similar problem.

I get the same voltages with 51pF and 100pF capacitors.

Does anyone understand where the negative Vmin is coming from?

I also tested with different capacitances to evaluate it. With 100pF I got some failures, because either the oscillator did not start or the I210 could not cope with the voltage levels. Is there a suggestion for oscillators to use?

I also tested without the I210, just with a 10MOhm resistor. I get a frequency of +- 1.1V. Why is voltage Level also negative? Before the capacitive voltage divider I have a clean 3.v3V - 0V frequency signal. 

Does the I210 uses the difference between Vmin and Vmax or do it need the 1,7V despite the minimum Voltage?

I will rephrase my question.

1. Does the I210 does anything to get a negative voltage? 

2. Does the I210 need that dimensions of the Capasitors? Most oscillators supports only C- Outputload = 15pF.
