I am a desktop support tech for a college. We use WOL and I can tell you for a fact their is a bug in your adapters drivers. I set all of the settings on the original NIC settings located in device manager under the name "Intel(R) Ethernet Connection 1219-V" Recently I have been getting requests from end users about their systems, which were waking, no longer waking. When I show up sure enough the name of the NIC is changed to "Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) 1219-V" in device manager. When I look at the device properties sure enough all of the magic packet settings were not checked.
I corrected the issue by setting the property values to the correct settings, but will it magically create another maybe (3)??

Hi Mhance3,
Thank you for posting in Wired Communities. Please help provide below information:
1) What is the driver version used? Where did you download the driver from?
2) Since this is an onboard NIC, what system board is this NIC embedded?
Thanks,
Sharon
