sorry for the necroposting.
We ran into the same issue but I can't find the document you've quoted up here regarding the impossibility to modify the MAC Address of the device, can you post the link please?
Of course ,this unless the device MAC address can now be changed because we've the same issue; we need to change the mac address of the device and we can't.
