Can you help in finding a method in transferring file using UDP protocol?

As well as measuring packet drop happening during file transmission using UDP.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Hi Michael,

To answer your questions

1) E810-XXVDA2/E810-CQDA2
2) No. We wanted to transfer files using UDP and check if packet loss is actually happening and measure it.
3) Operating System: RedHat 8.4

Hi Micheal,

To answer your questions,

1) We are using PCIe card.

2) We are using Intel Server Board S2600BP and Intel Server Board S2600WF.

3) We have configured NVMe/RDMA. We now want to check the method of file transfer using rdma and the packet drop occurring in it.

Hello Sakshi_Saraf,

Appreciate the quick reply. We are now checking this inquiry on how we can assist you. However, we still need to gather more details for us to further check.

  1. Can you share a picture of the card on both sides for us to check if the card is not an OEM unit?
  2. Please help generate the SSU of your system. Kindly download the utility below:

Hi Michael,

Thank you for your help.

From the reference links you have sent we could figure out RDMA Configuration, PFC Configuration, checking basic RDMA connectivity verification and concept of file transfer. But we are looking for a basic method to transfer files using UDP protocol. For instance, while transferring files through scp, TCP Protcol is used.

So similarly can you provide a method to transfer files using UDP protocol?

Also, if possible can you arrange a call for better and fast communication.

Sakshi Saraf
