Requesting bios and/or firmware for a 82599ES/X520-2 4 port NIC

Hi all,

I'm currently troubleshooting some network performance/compatibility issues with a 4 port 10GB NIC. I would like to request the latest bios and/or firmware for a 82599ES/X520-2 based 4 port NIC.

The card in question is a Silicom product: PE310G4SPI9LA (Ethernet Card Quad Port Fiber 10 Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express Server Adapter Intel® 82599ES Based). Serial is 1603029640. Please let me know if anything further is required.

Sincerely,

Darrin

Hello MacD21,

Thank you for posting in Intel Ethernet Communities.

Since you have mentioned that you are currently troubleshooting some network performance/compatibility, to help as best as we can with this issue we would like to ask these details from you.

  1. What was the issue you encountered that made you find the firmware of the NIC?
  2. When did you first encounter the issue?
  3. Is the unit newly purchased?
  4. Are there any hardware or software or hardware changes before the issue occurred?

In addition, unfortunately we have no NVM Update/firmware update available for OEM ethernet card, which in this case is PE310G4SPI9LA Ethernet Card. We only have NVM update package available for Intel retail adapters. We would suggest to please check with Silicom for the appropriate NVM update package.

Feel free to let us know if you have questions. In case we do not hear from you, we will create a follow-up after 3 business days. Thank you.
