Hi everybody,

i am trying to find specifications for a few intel ethernet products. I almost found all of them, but 2 are missing.

Can someone tell me where I can find the specs for the 82559 and the 82573E controller.

Thanks for your answer

Here is the public link to Intel's ethernet controller product docs: http://www.intel.com/products/ethernet/index.htm http://www.intel.com/products/ethernet/index.htm. You'll find the 82573 family docs there. If you don't find a product listed there, it will usually mean the product is no longer being offered for new designs. Or if it is a newer product, the doc just hasn't been released yet. The 82559 is no longer recommended for designs, and the specification doc is not available on this site.

http://www.intel.com/products/ethernet/index.htm Intel® Ethernet Controllers site has the technical documents. The default display is only 10 results when you select the controller, so the link to the document you need might be on another page. I usually just change the dropdown to show 50 results so I can scan everything. The 82573E information you need should be there. The 82559 was discontinued, and I can't find a location for the specification sheet.

If you can't find what your looking for via the links provided by Mark and Riverman (thanks guys!), Google can show the way: http://www.google.com/# hl=en&q=82559+spec+intel&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=2cca7b2e99206b9c

That link seemed to find what your were looking for, but not all of the sites are Intel. Good luck!

Thanks for your answers.

I found some very useful information on this site.

Is there any reason why intel doesnt provide the information for this controller anymore?

I mean the specifications of Intel are the best on the market i think (: so why are they hiding them?

Has anyone a idea which controller the Device IDs 0x8086108B and 0x808627DC are belonging to?

thank you for your help
