Hello,
When run RFC2544 throughput test under full load(total 4 x 10GbE ports on 2 x 82599ES NICs on E5 2697v3 Server) with Spirent TestCenter, we increased frame size by 1 byte step from 64 bytes to 1518 bytes.
There is an issue as titled, TX packets loss when frame size is multiple of 4 bytes, the attached is a test report(from Page 11).
If any idea for this issue?

Thank you for the post. Can you provide more information about system information?
1) Is this an onboard NIC on certain server? If yes, what is the brand and model of the exact server?
2) If it is a standalone NIC, What is the exact NIC Model?
3) What is the OS and driver version used?

It is a standalone NIC, the model is
- Intel Corporation 82599ES 10-Gigabit SFI/SFP+ Network Connection
The 82599ES worked with guest OS, details as following,
- Host OS(WindRiver OS): Linux 3.10.84-ovp-rt89-r9_preempt-rt
- KVM/QEMU: version 2.2.0
- Guest OS: CentOS(Kernel 3.4.103)
- Driver: igb_uio.ko(DPDK-1.7.1)

Thank you for the information. If it a standalone 82599ES network adapter, can you provide the
exact model .e.g X520-SR1, SR2 or DA2?
Please provide the serial number, you can locate the information on the white sticker on the network adapter (not on the box).

What is the brand and model of the server?

I hadn't checked on the frame size, btw, I confused on frame size checking, the dropped frames with fixed size when run RFC2544 test. I have read the datasheet, but I didn't find a reasonable explanation to this issue. Could you give me more details to check on frame size based on the datasheet? Thanks again.

1) Is there any end customer for this test? Who is the customer?
2) How is the 82599ES connected to the CPU? Through PCIe x8? Or PCIe x4?
3) What is the test setup and configuration?
