The local firmware of the XXV710-DA2 does not work with “unqualified” SFP.

We need to work at 25 Gb/s connected to a Network Equipment for 5G.

We are trying to use a couple of SFP28 by NEC with a single Fiber and different frequencies.

The local firmware reported the SFP28 as “unqualified” and does not work.

It works with other SFP28 types but unfortunately not with the one we need.

It was possible to bypass such test in the SW driver with other adapters.

Could you please help to do the same job with this XXV710-DA2 adapter ?

1)    Please provide the link of the SFP28 cable (NEC).

3)    What is the firmware version used?

4)    What is that network equipment?
