Unable to load driver for 800 series Network Adapter

Hi,

I have a problem to load driver for Intel Corporation Device 1592. I downloaded and tried ice-1.5.8 and ice-1.6.4 , but I have the same issue:

Build steps:
cd ice-1.x.x/src
make
insmod ice.ko

user@ubuntu:~/ice-1.6.4/src$ sudo dmesg

Hi.

I forgot command "modprobe ice" before installing driver. We can close this topic.

I did the "modprobe ice" and i get the following error:

modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'ice': Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

I check dmesg and I get the following

[23128.128793] ice: Unknown symbol gnss_allocate_device (err -2)
[23128.128875] ice: Unknown symbol gnss_deregister_device (err -2)
[23128.128948] ice: Unknown symbol gnss_register_device (err -2)
[23128.128985] ice: Unknown symbol gnss_put_device (err -2)

Did you face the same error?
