I download the intel driver for my network card and run the diagnostics of hardware. All results are good except "loopback test(s)". What does it mean?

Hello Noobabooba,

Thank you for posting in Intel Wired Ethernet Communities. The loopback test will send test packets from the adapter through the adapter's receive circuitry and logic. It may have failed due to the chipset not supporting the test feature.

Were you running diagnostics to test for an existing issue, and can you explain the issue? To further address the issue please provide the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- System Support Utility logs. This will not collect any personal information.
  • Download and run the .exe from the link above
  • Check "everything" then click "scan"
  • When scan is finished click "next"
  • Save the log and attach it to a post
The https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000008490/software/software-applications.html FAQs have additional information about this utility. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sorry for not answering. I had the problem with internet and rаn this test. I thought reason was in hardware. But actually it was the providers fault. Now its fixed. All is ok.

Although testing result is similar but i think you right. This is integrated network card in the old motherboard, its not supporting a lot of features.
