Windows 11 drivers for intel X-540 T2?

I recently installed windows 11 and discovered that these cards do not have drivers for windows 11.  Are these being developed?

Alternatively, what 10Gb adapters currently have windows 11 drivers available?

Thanks,

Rich

Hello merlina2,

Hope you are doing well.

Unfortunately, we do not have an ETA yet for the Windows 11 driver and also once it is available, it will be released for the OS validated Intel Ethernet Adapters at the same time so no drivers available as well for other Intel Ethernet Adapters.

In addition, we would like to inform you that we cannot identify whether your Ethernet adapter is an OEM or retail. We would suggest to please check with your place of purchase for the validation of the adapter. Listed below are our findings:

  1. The product name is X540-2T. The one we have is X540-T2

https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/88209/intel-ethernet-converged-network-adapter-x550t2.html

2. The PBA number and MM number does not exist in our database

3. It does not have a YottaMark* and BradyID* Stickers

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000007074/ethernet-products/gigabit-ethernet-adapters-up-to-2-5gbe.html

The reason why it is important to identify if your adapter is OEM or retail is because OEMs have customized firmware, drivers and software to enable or alter features on his system. For OEM adapters, we would recommend to check with the manufacturer so the Ethernet adapter does not lose features or customizations.

Let us know if you need clarifications. If we do not hear from you, we will make sure to make a follow-up after 3 business days.

Thank you and have a nice day.
