I bought a intel x520 10GE Card,  I connect X520 to my FPGA 10GE port, with a DAC cable.

I use CentOS 7.6, and run command :  " modprobe ixgbe allow_unsupported_sfp=1 "

but 10ge never show up. Checking demsg, it report:

Hi Jet60200,

Thank you for posting in our Intel® Ethernet Communities Page.

We are deeply sorry for the time it took for us to post our reply on this thread.

We need to get a little more context so we can provide an answer to your concern. Please answer the following questions:

1. May we know the brand and model of the DAC cable that you used?

2. Have you already tried connecting other network cards to your FPGA before? Were they able to connect on this kind of setup?

3. May we know to what system is the X520 connected to?

4. May we know the purpose of why you want to connect these two cards?

We look forward to hearing from you. If we do not get your reply, we will follow up after 3 business days.

Best Regards,

Alfred S
