Never had a problem with the excellent X550-T2 adapter, until the Wired_driver_29.4_x64 update. This installs version 4.1.260.0, according to the driver properties.
Device Manager in Windows 11 shows yellow triangles. There is no Internet. I tried the following:
- winsock reset
- int ip reset
- ipconfig /release -> /flushdns -> restart PC
- a full network reset under Advanced network settings.
No dice.
Win11 network diagnostics did not help either.
What did help was rolling my PC back to version 29.3. PC is running flawlessly again.
My system: Windows 11 Pro (23H2, OS build 22631.4460, Asus Z690 BIOS 4002)
Any suggestions what else I can try? Is this a bug in the driver? Let me know! Thanks.

Same problem here. Running 3 X550-T1/T2 cards along with some X710-T2L cards in multiple Win11 systems.
This new November driver broke them all.
i opened a support ticket about it and after a myriad of back and forth nonsense about taking pictures of the f/r of the cards, they started trying to help. But just suggesting trying all the stuff I already told them I had tried. They’ve pretty much ghosted me now though.
C’MON INTEL SUPPORT - FIX YOUR 24H2 10GBE DRIVER!

Yep - total silence. I was having a daily back and forth with a support engineer on this. As soon as I referenced this forum thread and let him know this was happening to anybody with a 10GbE card, he completely ghosted me - even after me reaching out to him twice. Crazy.

I just did an extended live chat with Intel Tech Support about this issue with this card. The agent said "Thank you for confirming the details. We will now create a new case and the required information will be shared to you via email."
I'll update this thread when I hear from them. Stay tuned.

Also, is it for W11 x64? I am presently utilizing driver v4.1.254.0, 6-1-2024
Thanks.

Sorry, this is for x7xx cards:
Version:
1.20.100.0
Release date:
January 7, 2025
I just tried to update my x550 cards using the new 29.5 driver download straight from intel's site and it successfully installs the version you posted.
Also, I read they are deprecating the X550 single port cards with Server 2025 and Win11 24H2. But that same document said they will continue supporting the X550-T2 cards. The x710 cards basically replaced the x550 series cards and I'm moving on to those instead.

Here is a link detailing my back-and-forth with Intel tech support and the steps I have taken to attempt the driver update:
I will update again once I hear anything more.
