You may use the QSFP+ Breakout Cable with Intel® QSFP+ Configuration Utility (QCU) to split the 40Gb port into 4x 10Gbps ports. This utility is included in adapter's driver. Refer to our websites below:

Yes, you may connect an X710 Network Card to another X710 Card. The performance results may vary when speed settings are mixed. It would be best to use our twinaxial cables.
