i am trying the to increase the transmit buffer of intel x710 t4l and t2l in a Dell workstation Precision 7960 running windows 10 but when setting the value i get an error The value is out of range. The valid range is from 128 to 4096 in increment of 64.
both network cards are 10 GBE and support up to 16384, the NIC driver from OEM vendor dell and from intel were tested and the same behavior
i have other workstations running the same with intel x540t and i am able to set the transmit buffer to 16384 successfully.
could you please advise.
