Hi,
I’m working on configuring a Hyper-V Windows Server 2022 host with a Linux (Debian 12.06) guest VM for SR-IOV, at the moment for my test setup. Our setup includes an Intel i350 SR-IOV-T2V2 Ethernet adaptor. The igbvf driver is loading at boot on the Hyper-V Linux guest VM. We’ve followed the steps for configuring Hyper-V external switches for SR-IOV as outlined in the Ethernet SR-IOV Microsoft Windows Brief and the SR-IOV Configuration Guide.
We expected ethtool -i eth1 and ethtool -i eth2 to show that it’s using the igbvf driver, and for sysfs to display virtual functions, but all Ethernet interfaces are currently probing to the hv_netvsc (Hyper-V Synthetic) driver.
If anyone has insights on SR-IOV with windows host (server 2022) and Linux guest (Debian 12.06) VM on Hyper-V, please help me on this? Is this some configuration issue or am I missing something?
Attached Intel SSU logs (Intel-SSU-logs.txt).
Thanks!
