Hi, using the latest drivers in Windows 8, the L210 port is stuck at 100 Mbps when connecting directly to another 1000 Mbps port. Using the tools in device manager, it auto detects at this speed, and when switched to 1000 Mbps manually, it stops responding.
The L217 port works fine, even when connected to the same terminal.
Have tried the prior driver, and that didn't help either. Any advice?
Using latest BIOS, latest drivers, fresh install of Windows 8 enterprise x64, all updates installed.

This problem was resolved by updating the drivers on the other device (Realtek). The fact that it worked fine with one controller and not the other is what threw me off.
